Bhakti Ratnakara Chapter 5: The Determination of Lord. Sloka 15.

 vastuto jānatām atra kṛṣṇaṃ sthāsnu cariṣṇu ca

bhagavad-rūpam akhilaṃ nānyad vastv iha kiñcana (BhP_10.14.056)

na kevalamātmanāmātmā jaḍānāmapītyāha | jagatkāraṇamiti kṛṣṇaṃ jānatāṃ sthāṣṇu sthāvaraṃ cariṣṇu jaṃgamaṃ sarva bhagavadrūpaṃ bhagavatā kāraṇatvena rūpyaṃ prakākṣyam | bhagavato rūpaṃ vā | bhagavāneva rūpaṃ svarūpaṃ yasya iti vā || 15 ||

 

---

jagata kāraṇa kṛṣṇa dewa bhagawanta ||

sthāwara-jaṅgama sabe rūpa mādhawara |

kṛṣṇa bine āna nāhi jānā nṛpabara ||150

 

---

 

creation’s cause (karana) Krsna, the Lord of Opulences.
Inerts and animates are all “forms” of the Lord of Primal Matter.

Apart from Krsna, there is no other entity, know, O supreme king. [150]

kṛṣṇam enam avehi tvam ātmānam akhilātmanām

jagad-dhitāya so 'py atra dehīvābhāti māyayā (BhP_10.14.055)

tatraiva caturdaśādhyāye śukokti kṛṣṇameva jagatāmātmeti darśayannāha | na kevalamātmanāṃ jagatāmapītyāha | jagato hitāya iti ||14||

---

akhila jīwara ātmā kṛṣṇa kṛpāmaẏa |

jagatara hita arthe jānibā niścaẏa ||149

māẏāẏe manuṣẏa yena prakāśa karanta |

he who is the soul of all jivas, Krsna, the personality of grace;

for the welfare of the creation, know it for certain; [149]

he appears as a man-like entity due to the effect of matter (maya);

 na caivaṃ vismayaḥ kāryo bhavatā bhagavaty aje

yogeśvareśvare kṛṣṇe yata etad vimucyate (BhP_10.29.016)

na cāyamatiprabhāva ityāha | yataḥ kṛṣṇāt etat sthāvarādikam ||13|| 

---

nakaribā saṃśaẏa kṛṣṇata nṛpabara |

yogeśbara samastara kṛṣṇese īśbara ||148

parama īśbara kṛṣṇa dewa bhagawante |

sthāwara paryyante gati pāwe yāta hante || 

---

Do not entertain any doubt regarding Krsna, O the best among kings.

Even the lords of yoga are having only Krsna as their Lord. [148]

That supreme lord Krsna who is the Possessor of All Excellences;

from whom even the immobiles obtain motion;

kāmaṃ krodhaṃ bhayaṃ sneham aikyaṃ sauhṛdam eva ca
nityaṃ harau vidadhato yānti tan-mayatāṃ hi te (BhP_10.29.015)

ato yathākathañcittadāsaktimmuktikāraṇamityāha | aikyaṃ sambandhaṃ sauhṛdaṃ bhaktim ||12||

 

---

kāma krodha bhaẏa sneha suhṛdatā bhāwe |

yathā tathā prakāre kṛṣṇata gati pāwe ||147

bhakati karaẏa nuhi sambandha karaẏa |

eteke kṛṣṇara rūpa awaśẏa pāwaẏa || 

---

 

Through lust or anger, fear or affection, or with the sentiment of “beloved friend;”
one is delivered in Krsna, whatever be the means. [147]

One does devotion or enters into relationship with him;
from that only one obtains the form of Krsna, for certain.

 

Bhakti Ratnakara Chapter 5: The Determination of Lord. Sloka 11.

 

nṛṇāṃ niḥśreyasārthāya vyaktir bhagavato nṛpa
avyayasyāprameyasya nirguṇasya guṇātmanaḥ (BhP_10.29.014)

tatronatriṃśe śukaḥ | nanū dehī kathamanāvṛta ityāha | guṇātmanāstanniyantuḥ evaṃ rūpābhivyaktiḥ | ato:'sau na dehī sādṛśamiti bhāvaḥ ||11||

---

 

brahmāra bacana iṭo thailom̐ ehimāne |

śunā ābe śukara bacana sāwadhāne ||

kṛṣṇara mahimā śuka rājāta kahanta |

nāhi yāra pramāṇa nirguṇa bhagawanta ||146

guṇara niẏantā kṛṣṇa abyaẏa īśbara |

bhailā byakta nistāra kāraṇe jagatara ||

These words of Brahma I keep at this point.

Hear now the word of Suka with attentive mind.

Krsna’s prowess (mahima) Suka tells the king,

‘He who has no quantitativeness—the evolute-less (nirguna) Lord of Opulences; [146]

gunas’ controller Krsna, the undeclining Lord—

has become revealed for the purpose of saving the creation.
